Do you agree with the decision to rename Mt. McKinley?

In my opinion it should've never been named Mt McKinley. It should've been named as the local tribes had called Denali!

Agreed. The name change poses issues, but it never should have been changed from Denali anyways.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, aren't there bigger issues to consume the POTUS and his limited time?

SGT Ben Keen
SSG Warren Swan - I get that, but does it really take the President to name a mountain? I'm proud of the Congresswoman for taking the time to listen to her constituents and getting done what they want. But again, who names a mountain, a river, a lake, etc?

SGT Ben Keen - This wouldn't even be news if the president wasn't going to Alaska, and the mountain itself wasn't named for a former president from Ohio. Ohio representatives raised hell over the name change and made this an issue when it didn't need to be. But in the end, the government not nessicarily congress itself can name lands on federal land. If I read this wrong, please correct me.

It's not the President who renamed it, it's the Secretary of Interior. They just asked to time it with his visit.
