AMU/APU Graduates: Would you pursue a Masters from a different school, or continue with AMU/APU?

Question for graduates from AMU/APU. I am about halfway through my Bachelors in Business management degree and intend on following up with a masters in Business Administration. With a degree in this field & university, what is the general success rate you feel that it directly enhanced career progression? I love Amu, but am on the fence on doing my masters degree with another university to make my resume a little more diverse. Any Suggestions or personal feedback is greatly appreciated.

I think if you are talking diversity in attending a brick and mortar college, then that would make sense. If you are talking another on-line college, or for profit school, I think you might be wiser staying with one you know and trust.

SFC (Join to see) This is really sound advice. If all of you education is online I don't know that you could call it diverse. I have done both. My BA was at a traditional college and my MPA was with AMU. Very different experience. Thanks MSG Brad Sand

I am currently in a Masters degree with AMU. I like it, very informative and they are very friendly. I received my Bachelors degree from Troy University. I was told by a good friend that you should not go to the same school for your Masters and you did for your Bachelors. So yes diversity is a good thing and you should look into other schools for your Masters.

Academic incest is never a good idea, especially when the institution is a for-profit university.

I have also heard the same thing. It makes your resume look more diversified. It is what I am planning to do. I have a few colleges narrowed down for graduate school.

I earned my MBA at Grantham University online. They are very military friendly, and have a supportive and helpful staff.

PFC Sethre,
Awesome, congratulations! What did they charge per semester hour for the masters, and we're the books all online or paid for seperate?

It was $250 per credit for graduate credits? That's a steal! That's a school I havent considered yet.
