I can't relate to most people, even when I try they don't understand my sense of humor or they think I'm too intense and trying to integrate into a professional organization has been a disaster because I have a hard time respecting a person as a boss who is actually living up to any kind of principal, so it's been hard to adjust. Am I alone in this?

Try finding connection one person at a time. If your living arrangements allow it, get a dog. Walk it several times a day and talk to people you meet. If you can't get a pet, volunteer at an animal shelter and walk/help socialize their animals.

Not really, none of us are alone thinking this was, I stay by myself mostly the only time I am around people is in church, a restaurant, the VA, that’s pretty much it, it’s hard to trust people never had the chance to learn to turn it off, so I found a hobby I build wood model ships it’s my safe zone.

Creating a deeper relationship in my faith with our Lord and Savior. Personally I believe it’s one of the best ways to find peace in oneself emotionally, physically and mentally. The hardest thing is finding that medium that helps you heal. I’m not sure if anyone is completely healed but we do our best. May you find peace Petty Officer.
