POV Vehicle Inspection Question #3: What are the emission standards for this truck?

Your soldiers have some unique POV's. SSG Jones has restored his 1996 Dodge Truck, with a new Dodge Hemi engine from a wrecked vehicle. What emissions standards would he have to meet?

If he were in Michigan, he wouldn't have to meet any standards.

If not in Kali the '96 specs should work.

Technically when you change the engine, you change the standard. As a "new" i think post 2006 I think was a big change year for emissions. Of course it also gets down to what your state has for an inspection system.

LOL In Montana we don't have inspections so I can do whatever I want.

Depends if the car came equipped with a Federal converter or a California converter, 13 states use the California CARF standards.
