Should I call them and explain or can I just ignore it? I have been very busy lately, and have no time to deal with this nonsense.

Nonsense? This is one of the rights and responsibilities we have as Americans. That said, you can call them and explain your situation. Don't ignore it.

Do Not Ignore It !!! I was Summoned for jury duty, I went to Doctor office before the "report" date, and received a note from the Dr. that with constant oxygen use, I would be disruptive to the trial, and therefore I was immediately excused from jury duty.. If you ignore it I think you have committed a crime.. I believe that MSgt R. Stacy is CORRECT.. If on Active Duty.. Just Call..

I agree, it is important to be a part of your community and you can learn a lot, not to mention see how many screwed up people or morons we have out there getting in trouble lol however, you don't HAVE to go unless you have done it once, then you'll be in the database.

Take the opportunity to serve on this jury duty SPC (Join to see), the public needs to be exposed to the true Integrity of our Veterans!

Great point, more vets in jury boxes means more exposure of us. I didn't think of that.

This is one of those odd times when I completely agree. Unless you have a hardship (which anyone can understand, including the court) take the chance to serve. I'd love to see the full process.
