1979-1983. I was Air Force, but worked south of the city of Homestead at the Navy site in the swamp off of Card Sound Rd.

My time there was 1974-77, good fishing hole out back with friendly gator that liked to eat fishing bobbers!

I remember that pond! Took my 5 year old out there to go fishing early one morning after a mid shift. We only lasted about five minutes though - the mosquitos were as big as the bass were!
