Operation Desert Shield/Storm

Worked joint service intelligence (USA/USAF) at Field Station Augsburg for the kickoff and duration of Desert Storm. I was on a 4-year tour there. It was scheduled to run from 1989-1993, but my unit (6913th ESS) closed in March 1991 following the fall of the Berlin Wall and subsequent developments in Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union.
