I have a soldier who was demoted from E4 to E3, however, he is still an e4 on his ERB and LES.

EMilpo isn't processing any rank changes because IPSSA is being implemented. Have no fear, the Army will get their rank and DFAS will get their money, effective to the date of reduction. Tell youe SM to save that extra money because it's coming out the pay check after ippsa goes into effect

The rank should be removed during the administration of the AR by the Commander, generally removed by the 1SG or CSM.

SGT (Join to see) If the paperwork was signed by the Comander and it included a reduction and you have seen it then you are in the wrong as well. If your NCOs and leadership have not taken you to the leadership to correct it they are wrong. It will not change over time. Face it by requesting to see the Commander and inquiring as to why (if you were to be reduced) you have not been reduced. So again, if you have seen the signe document you are technically out of unifor. Go see the command.

I had received a field grade Art 15 with a suspended reduction form E-5 to E-4 for 3 months. Kept my act together and 3 months later I wars informed to alter my off duty behavior.

PO1 Robert Ryan That is a real possibility and often when a service member sees the er in their ways. Great job.

SGT (Join to see)unless their was a suspended punishment and the time elapsed, the Soldier is still reduced and back to my previous statement. Either way he wont know until you ask for a copy of the AR15.

SGT (Join to see) 1955, 7th Signal Co, Camp Casey. The company commander told SFC Krotzer that he was going to bust him. That night at the company’s NCO Club, Krotzer lamented what his wife would say upon receiving a smaller paycheck. The next day, Krotzer cut one rocker off his chevrons on several uniforms. He became a hard ass NCO and was ‘by the book’ for a while. Then, after no orders of reduction were published, other uniforms with all of the stripes started reappearing. Not a word was said and Krotzer soon resumed his old habits!
