Im looking for help with how to get onto my erb? My TL said to go on there after I told him/asked him whether or not I get my pfc rank changed to spc on my pinks and greens uniform since I’ll be a spc next drill. Not sure what he wants me to do on there? Also I’m supposed to get my unit patch sewn on as well? How would I go about doing that?

You can't get your ERB. The brownout period started last week and eMilpo is down. If it works out correctly this time there will never be an ERB again.
Ask some other people in your unit what sew shop they use locally if you are not based near an Army installation

MSG (Join to see) I was very particular in adding that. This is only the third time it's being tried for AD lol.
I hate to say that I don't want to see it go live, it's just that all the other systems work well and IPSSA looks like crap, has confusing terms for everything, is basically a civilian system that you're trying to process army stuff through. I just see it being hot garbage for a long time

You’ll find your SRB on HRC. You can Google “Army SRB HRC” and it’ll pop up. You’ll need a cac reader to log in.
As for for your unit patch and rank, dig in to AR 670-1 and DA PAM 670-1 to find the placement of your patches. Make sure your TL verifies your search is accurate before you get everything sewn on.

Ok thanks. I may sound dumb for this but how would i actually go to get my unit patch, new rank sewn on? Would I just go to the dry cleaners or something?

CSM Charles Hayden
PFC (Join to see) It is your uniform and your responsibility. Yes, you can take uniforms to a dry cleaners that do sewing and alterations - After you have properly positioned the patch and sham shield and used straight pins to pin them in the proper position. Tailors are not to be trusted with placement of uniform items. Make sure everything is in the correct position.

PFC (Join to see) As CSM Charles Hayden has said, placement and sewing is your responsibility. BUT.....
You said elsewhere that you are near an Army base. Most of them have a sew shop attached to or right next to the clothing sales store . They are usually pretty darned good with these things. Yes, you still have to verify everything is right - and don't be afraid or ashamed to bring a ruler in when you pick it up from sewing. But they get it right more than 90 times out of 100.

Have you been called in front of the formation to be advanced to SPC and provided a copy of your 4187 advancing you to SPC? What I'm getting at is until you have that 4187 in hand and since the brown out is in effect, I'd hold off on sewing new rank. Especially since you dont have any paperwork to support

I have not. I haven't hit E-4 yet but by next week I can see if I've been promoted.

PFC (Join to see) - You are confusing what paygrade you are in the system with getting promoted. Go back and read the SFC question.
