Do you feel that this administration is simply interested in getting a deal done for it's legacy as opposed to getting THE deal which will ensure that Iran is unable to develop nuclear weapons? I personally feel that the current administration, counter to what it actually tells the media and general public, is only concerned with getting a deal signed so they can point to that as the "crown jewel" of its feckless foreign policy.

I think it is a sad commentary on the state of this administrations foreign policy.....

This is Kerry at the negotiating. "Please please please. With sugar on top. How many times have they moved the line. The Iranions taunt Obama calling for audacity and hope.

I think that we will never get a deal which is 100% in our favor. The object is to get the best deal that we can.
The alternative is another war. Do we really want to go to war with Iran? The Israelis will force our hand and we've been practicing with the new bunker buster bombs designed to take out their underground facilities.
I would welcome any deal that would reduce tensions and hope for the best deal that we can get. Compromise is not a bad word.

Believe me, I agree that we need to reach a deal, I just do not think with any amount of certainty that one will be reached that benefits us, as in everyone other than Iran...as far as Israel is concerned, I think they may have something else brewing on their borders with Egypt.
