How will being selected to be an ALC Instructor impact my career progression?

I am currently serving as an instructor in OSUT for just short of a year and a half. I have been selected to be an ALC instructor (MOS 19k) and was curious of how this will if any affect career progression. I have already completed the criteria and have earned my basic army instructor badge in current position. Also open for any advice before hand.

It actually looks pretty good on Boards. Going from OSUT where you are teaching privates how to do the job to ALC where you are teaching NCO’s how to lead other NCO’s and become more competent in their 30 level responsibilities shows that you can adapt to new challenges and you are in fact great at your job.
In the MI world, it’s backwards because AIT is one thing, and ALC is basically AIT again lol.
Go for the ALC slot, get your SAIB

My understanding is it doesn't look great if you go from broadening to broadening if you don't have generating assignments or key development time in positions such as team leader, squad leader, etc. Looks better if alternating between KD, Generating, and Broadening.

Understandable. To elaborate better it’s an inter post transfer and would only be until my 2 year obligation is met for broadening.

SSG (Join to see) ah ok. In that case I don't think he would be bad. Maybe domeone else could give further guidance.

Not necessarily true, going from AIT instructor to ALC instructor shows that you can adapt to a new challenge. In AIT, you’re teaching privates, in ALC, you’re teaching NCO’s
