Without getting into too much detail as many I worked with are on here and I don't want some sort of witch hunt starting, I was given between 2003-2010 3 very special coins from my command. They were very limited - one was a general's coin, the other two were OIF I/II Raven coins from 81st brigade. They had serial numbers. Apparently someone I worked with felt they deserved them more - they among other awards and gifts were stolen. It has been over a decade - however my now 18 year old son gave me for Christmas a Challenge coin stand. I would dearly LOVE to have replicas of the ones I had been given. Does anyone know how to go about getting them? I do not want some stolen valor cheap knock off.

yes...as a matter of fact is IS EXACLTY LIKE THAT ONE....is there any way to check the limited edition serial number to make sure I have it written down right? HOLY CHALLENGE COINS!!!!! You may have found my lost coin! General Oscar Hillman was the last General of 81st Brigade - after that they demoted the command to Full Bird - then they converted to Stryker...now I'm gonna have to play detective!

THANK YOU!

SPC Dawn Appelberg (Johnson) - That sucks. I don't know if eBay will give you the contact info for the recipient. For what it's worth, I know that Gen H is active on Social media, it may be that he still has a small cache? It won't be the same coin, but would be the same intent.

You might have already done this, but I would recommend contacting your unit and possibly try to get in contact with the General’s staff to see if they have any records of the serial numbered coins to help you find or replace them. It would help if you have a personal record of the serial numbers.
Best of luck to you

There are plenty of resources you can use. Military exchange, Ebay and a quick google will show a long list of companies that sell military coins and can design a coin to fit your needs. You could also reach out to the unit and see where they have coins available.
