Hey Guys, going to Fort Huachuca for 35F. I’m prior service, coming from Reserves to active duty. MEPS won’t authorize me to drive but someone on my last thread that was a instructor said I should bring my vehicle. I haven’t had luck getting in touch with that same soldier.
Does anyone have or know the number to the school house down there. I want to verify if I can drive there, to which I’ll drive down to have my vehicle there and then fly back for MEPS to ship me off.
Thank you all!

Im right here. IKN doesn't have the 305th phone number. [login to see] is the S1 number.

Thank you SSG, I was able to get into contact earlier but I will save this number. Talked to a DS there. I look forward to working with you once there and learning the job. Thank you for the response.

I'm going to PM you. But to start with go to IKN (ikn.army.mil). You have to log in with CAC but it has the welcome letter for 35F AIT - which has the number for the Senior Drills at the end to contact for any concerns.
It did say for MOS-T that the course doesn't provide funding for you all but you are "highly encouraged to bring your own POV." So you could drive but you won't get any reimbursement for mileage, etc. But the school saying "highly encouraged" doesn't mean much more than they will allow MOS-T to have them while they are in the course.

Like you said in your message, if you could please copy and paste that into a message, just the POC’s, that’d be great! Thank you

Good evening! Im so going through 35F AIT as prior service next month. I tried using the website you provided but it wouldn’t load for some reason (even with CAC access). I’m wondering if you could send me the link as well? Trying to get all the info I can beforehand!

SGT (Join to see) - This is from November so I don't know how accurate the info still is. I didn't send him a link I sent the welcome letter that was posted on IKN. I'm not sure why you couldn't get it to work with CAC.

I'm also attending the course next week. I am in similar situation, Senior DS said we can bring our POV but MEPS is not allowing me to drive. My plan is to have my wife drive it down there and she can just take a flight out on the weekend.

Yeah, I talked to the DS too and just drove it there the other day. Good luck! See you at the school.

Sorry man for the late reply. I parked it at the Candlewood hotel. Did you get there already? SGT (Join to see)

No worries! It was not late at all. I just don't have much info on the parking situation. Good to know though thank you for that. I am not there yet. I live in Las Vegas so I'm thinking of driving it down and fly back then leave from my MEPS in San Diego. I'm all over the place.
