SGT William Howell Very true, everyone thinking that is what they will do in their last moments are fooling themselves. We're pre-wired with adrenaline that kicks in for that fight/flight/flee response, and asking for forgiveness at that stage of the game is a fantasy.

SFC Mark Merino That is so true. You know that they have added another to "fight or flight". They call it, "Total sensory shut down". They just get the 1000 yard stare.

I'm a fighter. It got me in trouble at night when the nightmares hit. I had to sleep on the sofa.

Cpl Kirk Lurch Davis Your words left me seechless. What an expression of love! You honor her with your thoughts and words. I believe you would be a powerful speaker if you chose to speak regarding breast cancer awareness. God bless you and I thank God for having you in my life's path. I have to share your words with my little Hitomi. She has undergone the surgeries and radiation treatments for breast cancer and wants to quit taking the 10 years of preventive meds that make her joints ache terribly. I believe your words will get thru to her where mine wouldn't. I thank you and will keep you in my prayers.
