Are you doing what you joined for? No. I joined to work Security Forces so I could get Security/Law Enforcement experience and training that I was hoping I could utilize civilian side.
Do you remember why you joined? Had a lot of family go through the military and knew that it would be one of the best ways to take care of school. It also proved some people wrong about me which was just an added bonus.
In hind sight although I am still bitter about the job they gave me I am still getting my GI Bill and can take care of LE training on my own and like I said, I am not rubbing it in people's faces but I still get the silent satisfaction of knowing that that they were wrong about me. I was just hoping to get a leg up on the LE training while also serving in the military which would have been perfect for me.

Nope! Damn It! I had to retire but for 21 Years I had the Inside Dope (Senior Spook on the Pier) and access to any and every radio I ever wanted.
