Motorcycles are counted as HHG for weight, not as a vehicle. PCS weight limit for E4 with dependents is 8000 pounds. 25% of your weight packaging

SPC (Join to see) - that is your allowance for OCONUS. Double check it here. https://move.mil/entitlements

SPC (Join to see) what I'm trying to tell you is not howuch weight you're authorized. In trying to tell you a motorcycle isn't shipped as a vehicle it's shipped as part of your weight allowance for HHG

When you PCS to Korea, If your weight allowance is 8,000lbs, you’ll only be able to ship 25% (2000lbs). So if you motorcycle is 1300lbs, you’ll only be able to ship 700 additional pounds.SPC (Join to see)

Work on getting your command sponsorship first. Even though your orders say with dependents. They still need to be cmd sponsored and efmp screened

SPC (Join to see) yes, you have to submit the sponsorship paperwork to 8th Army in Korea for approval. I too had orders to Korea, Area 1 with dependents travel included. But had my CMD sponsorship disapproved by 2 ID

You need to confirm with JPPSO, but it is possible to ship the motorcycle in HHG, but you are constrained in weight allowance

SPC (Join to see) - call them. You don't have a HHG appointment? That's the office that coordinates your move. If you scroll down at the same link is the answer to your question.
