The US Government feels that the country that wishes to award medals such as this are to pay for/provide the US Government with said medals. To date, the Iraqi Government has not supplied the US with the medals. This medal has been under continuous review for years. To date, the ONLY recipient has been Joe Biden.

AR 600-8-22 would be amended and added to Chapter 9 with wear and order of precedence adjusted. I'll bet you a soda the clasp will not be authorized if it is approved.

CPT (Join to see) which medal? I am not eligible for the ODS medals, Came in too late. The medal from the OP was after my time, haven’t looked into retroactive award.

SPC(P) (Join to see) they're still working on it. The last word I saw was a the letter written to the SecDef or something. There was also a meeting or call with a few congressmen, too. I don't see this moving forward until at least the end of next year. When compared to COVID, the SCOTUS seat that just opened up, and, of course, the election cycle currently in full swing, this isn't even on the backburner--thus shit isn't even near the stove top.
