Has anyone in CID tried to do the voluntary early separations for enlisted? And if so how did it go/is it going?

I am currently in the process of being hired by a civilian company. The job would start about 6 months prior to my current ETS. It is no secret to anyone in my command that I will not be reenlisting and I plan on getting out. I was just wondering if anyone in CID had or is going through this process and how is it going for you. All information is helpful. Thank you.
