Finishing up my WOFT essay, and want to make sure I’m using the correct format. Would any WO be willing to exchange emails to read over my work before submission?

Crayon is always good !!! Just kidding. Does the Army not give out a re-hash of all the previous selection board best practices ? Generally, that was a good place to start, and where I always told my sailors to go. Best of luck to you!

I’m no longer in, this will be my second enlistment if selected. Kinda at the mercy of my own research right now. This is my recruiters 1st WOFT packet so we’re learning together lol.

LT Brad McInnis - HRC releases fairly good autopsies on Officer and NCO boards, but WO selection is a little opaque. Unofficially, I think that the process is set so that applicants have to have positive warrant mentorship to get through the process. If no warrants want to invest in you, that is an indicator. MHO. Obviously if you are coming in off the street in high school to flight school or similar program, you may not have that. I believe this packet requires a senior warrant recommendation letter, this is part of that pre-vetting.
SPC Lucas Lobren Without worrying about whether it is in 14 pitch helvetica or wingdings 12 font, worry about the content and what the writing prompt is. Read the question and answer the question. You can adjust margins, tabs etc after. I would also look at DA PAM 600-3 on WO attributes and duties to write about how you are equipped to do those. Follow the advice of the Warrants on here who offered to help. The person reading it is a warrant. They are very much 'cut through the crap' people. Especially in technical fields like Maintenance, Transportation, and Supply. Aviation Warrants operate in a very black and white world as lives and aircraft are at stake. Be yourself. They'll see t soon enough if you are not.
