EXCEL: Building trackers and tools to turn exported data from Army information systems into usable information, with an eye to reduce the adjustment, reconfiguration, interpretation and other nug work.
Pivot Tables
Vertical Lookup Tables
Formatted lists and drop down menus
Count number of
Calculating "get wells" and tipping points
Structuring of data as much as possible
POWER POINT: is a display tool, but anything you can do to pipe data in with links etc so you don't spend your decision cycle nugging things into a display format.
Linking EXCEL and PPT slides
Structuring/Pre Formatting so all you have to do is cut and paste
MS WORD: how to write a standard Army memo ala AR25-50 with he sacred memo template and letterhead. How to write a white paper, info paper, FLIPL findings, staff studies, other standard Army documentswhile getting word to take the format tasks without you spending time on it.
