Trying to find the my VA Compensation letter showing exactly what I'm being compensated for at what percentages? I see the summary letter and what not, but I need the letter that states exact compensations.

Your decision letter contains all that information. I f you do not still have a copy of it you might be able to get the VA to send you a new copy of the decision letter. Mine is about ten pages long and lists each body part and whether it is rated or denied. Then evidence, then reasons for decision. Next it gives the references to US codes. Then the forms to disagree with the decisions. I scanned mine into the computer right away so it couldn't get misplaced.

If you can't find the original decision letter, then you will probably have to either call or write the VA for further assistance as I've looked for any place to print out on your own and do not find any way without contacting them.

Be exact when you ask them to send you the copy of your decision letter as they frequently do not seem to speak the same language we speak.

Awesome, thank you. This is what I was starting to realize, but trying to get stuff from the VA is sometimes hit or miss. I have a couple boxes of files. So I think once I go through those and if I still don't find it then VA will be getting contacted. Again much appreciated for the info.

SPC Brett Chaffee - Glad to help, I am still trying to get mine increased and appeals to the board. It's a long involved process. And the VA won't offer any help without you knowing what to ask.

Now that I have logged on I can be more precise. Once in click on Manage tab then click Documents and Records, a new page will come up, click on VA Letters. New page comes up, Step 1 confirm your address, Step 2 gives you what letters you want. The first 2 options are the benefits letters. See which one has the right information for your needs. Generate the letter and print or download. Easy.

I've done this. But it won't show exactly what I'm being compensated for, unless I overlooked it, just shows the total percentage. Not what gave me the percentage. It's for an Air Guard Recruiter.

SPC Brett Chaffee got ya, when you first log in on the left is Disabilities, click that and that will show all your disabilities percentages. But there is no letter that has that.

If you go to the EBENEFITS website you can download your decision letter and also view a list of all your disabilities and the percentage.
