Has anyone ever participated in a Warrior Adventure Quest? If you haven't I highly recomment looking into it for your unit. It is a great program that has been in place for nearly 5 years. It is designed to be a RESET program for Soldiers to partake in activities instead of destructive behaviors. Most bases have a WAQ program, and the activities available will vary from area to area.
Some of the activities I know of are rock climbing, white water rafting, paintball, zip line, mountain biking, skiing, and scuba. There are others but Don't remember off top of my head.
The program is designed for a platoon of Soldiers to participate in the activities, and are led by trained NCOs. There is a debrief at the end of the activity, similar to an AAR but a bit different.
An NCO and I led a pilot program for our BN while I was in Korea. We did paintball and white water rafting. All the Soldiers loved the activities and wanted to do it again.

SPC Smith just showed what imaginative leadership can come up with. It is fun and challenging and what many of our troops absolutely need. Good topic and thank you SPC Smith.
Low morale is caused when WE all don't really care for one another. We must be willing to step up to help anothe Soldier who is in need, whatever it may be.
Personally, my door and phone has ALWAYS been open to anyone in my unit regardless of my relationship to them.
Oops, double post. Darn phone.
Nope, we played in some way out there field in the Korean countryside. It's fairly small but still covered with enough vegetation and trees for cover. Lots of fun though.
