So i have been waiting since July for HRC to say yes or no on my re-enlistment. But here is the kicker as of 01 OCT 13 there will be no more BEARs program. Has anyone else ran into this issue?

Sorry to say with all the cutbacks and sequestrian issues, it is not going to get any better anytime soon, I would be contacting my branch manager as well as my retention NCO at higher HQs to get a phone call or two made to determine where you are at if still waiting for an answer.

I forgot to update I retook the DLAB scored a 117 and got in the BEARS program 2 days prior to it closing so I am now when I graduate 35p AIT I will get a nice bonus

Nothing has been officially released yet, but with the Army cutting many little used programs, this would not surprise me.
