Is it possible to make it home from my current deployment before the birth of my third child?

My wife was pregnant before I deployed and my chain of command was tracking. I have two other toddlers and my wife does not have much help. I am aware of MPLP directive 20190122. Currently under CJTF and was verbally told it is unlikely without a red cross message for high risk pregnancy. My wife is not high risk.

You will probably miss the birth. Mainly because most troops coming back from deployment are being put in quarantine for 14 days upon return to the states.

SSG (Join to see) - have you asked your chain of command that question? No one on here can answer that unless they are your Company Commander.

Well, per FRAGO 8 and the guidance from HRC and CoSA, nobody is moving without approval from the 1st General Officer in their chain of commandLTC Jason Mackay

SSG (Join to see) - the Company Commander is the key to getting that, as opposed to randos on RP. If he doesn't have Company Commander support he won't have GO Support.
So FRaGO 8 covers redeployment? The SECDEF published guidance makes provision for humanitarian movements subject to service processes.

There are several factors at this time that would make it largely impossible, in addition to current policies. You may want to focus more on identifying larger support to help her locally.

Your unit should have never sent you if they had intentions of you making It their for the birth of your child

I generally agree but if she was just pregnant and they sent him on a six month mission, no reason he would not be back in time. Few details are missing.
