I know that the QMP board met in early Feburary, and convened in late March. I was originally told notification memos should begin being sent out in the late March time frame, then it was early April, and now I am being told mid April. It is my understanding that QMP notification memos would be sent out on an individual basis.Does anyone have any insight into this? Does anyone have peers or soldiers who have recieved notification already? Any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

CPT (Join to see), I had the same reaction. I didn't know hwat QMP was, but gave SFC (Join to see) an up vote just for meeting Chuck Norris.

QSP is actually what you're referring to. QMP is screening for derogatory info in your records and then determining if the Army wants to keep you or not.

We (my Commander with my support) issued two notices. You are good to go unless you have some history of misconduct or substandard Evaluations (NCOER and/or 1059's).

Roger CSM, I was notified in December that I was being reviewed by QMP board, stemming from a GOMOR I recieved last year. I knownlast years QMP board statistjcs were 81% denied continued service, and 19% retained,so I am not holding my breath on gettung good news, but waiting in limbo is torture especially knowing that a decision has already been made, and is sitting in a file at HRC

So what happens if S1 didnt sent up the retirement packet and the records go before the board and the the board gives a retirement date but not the one requesteed? happened to my buddy and he wants to try and get the date pushed back but not sure where to turn.

CSM, can you expound upon what you mean by "history of conduct". Would a company grade art 15 be enough to actually QMP out of the Army?

Having Chuck Norris in your RallyPoint photo should weigh heavily in your favor. Prayers from AZ, brother.

The benefit of growing old is realizing the truth about one door having to close so that another door is allowed to open. "Disasters" often become blessings UNLESS we accept defeat and throw in the towel. You got this and then some!
