Myself and a Sgt have been sitting at the aha for 3 days we have officers who have provided us meals that they have bought for us and we have been sleeping in a 15 pax van at night at the aha because we are the only ones qualified. At night we sleep in the van at the aha with soldiers sitting in the truck awake we haven’t had a chance to do personal hygiene and sitting in a lmtv for 3 days isn’t real comfortable any regs to shoot up the chain about how wrong this is or anything?

Ok, i know your new to the Army, so i will just ask you what you expect from the Army? Might i offer you some viewing ideas for when your feeling how bad you have it. Try watching "Band of Brothers", or "the Pacific" if after watching those two series, please let me know how bad you have it. Listen, the Army is not always going to be easy, just think there are always Soldiers that have it worse than you. Im sure right now as we speak there are Soldiers all over the world that wished they had a 15 PAX van to sleep in right now, and you only have 2 of you sleeping in it, plenty of room to strecth out. Your being fed which is a good thing. We would often times go on a 2 day mission in iraq that turned into 4 weeks, Im not too sure what you expect. Lets put it this way. You are now CSM Wysong, what is your solution for these Soldiers? Evidently you have internet so it cant be that bad.

SPC (Join to see) - why is it any different? Train as you fight. When you get back bring it up to your chain of command so that you can help them develop a better roster when stuff like this comes up again, but for now, i would suggest obeying your general orders and stop complaining and truly affect change for future Soldiers. ALways put yourself in place of those above you so that you can come up with solutions to the problem. Should more people be trained? Should rosters be updated when Soldiers PCS? For every problem you see be prepared to give a solution to fix the problem. If you do not have a solution maybe they dont either. Welcome to the Army!!!!!!!!!

Roger msg upon further research there has been regs broken I’m not sure of the AR but armed guards (myself and the Sgt) are supposed to have a physical check in every 4 hours along with another reg stating meals need to be 4 preferably five hours apart.. it is 1445 right now last meal was at 0630.. last contact by the commander was yesterday at 1700 it’s all good once I’m out and they do AAR I’ll make sure to bring up the issues along with solutions to help better operations thanks again msg.MSG (Join to see)

SPC (Join to see) - What do you think the penalty is going to be for a commander breaking this reg? "Hey CPT, dont do that shit again." "RGR Sir." I would recommend you filing a complaint on a hurt feelings report.

Sokdier! There are many ways to perform the appropriate amount of hygiene, you are being fed and you have cover.

Are you sleeping outside in the field? No, are you eating MRE’s for every meal? Doesn’t seem like it. I’m sure you endured harder days in basic. And you’re sleeping in a van? That’s luxury! And you have your phone...
