I’m debating if I should re-enlist another 3 years. What are some benefits the national guard has to offer for attending college?

Montgomery GI Bill. Tuition Assistance. Student Loan Repayment. And, if there is enough money in the State Budget for it, I understand some States offer 100% tuition.

PFC (Join to see) - Shouldn't, but the standard minimum contract is usually a 6x2. But all of those questions will be answered when you sign the contract or even by your Recruiter before you even hit MEPS. Last I knew, TA and SLR are available as options during certain times of the year. Not always a guarantee.

PFC (Join to see) - You can get Student Loan Repayment with a six year extension only.
Tuition Assistance is something you can apply for at any time while in the Guard.
GI Bill is something you can use anytime, and up to ten years after you get out.

Yes, many states offer some sort of tuition assistance, Federal Tuition assistance, Student Loan Repayment , and GI Bill. for starters, each state is different, and qualifications for each benifit is different between states. Keep in mind you can live in one state and drill in another and qualify for the benefits of the state you drill in.

Every state offers its own TA incentives. Some offer 100%, others 50, or 75%. Incentives vary state to state
