Is there a device for multiple awards for the NATO Medal?

If you participated in two different qualifying NATO missions then you may put a bronze service star on the NATO medal ribbon. See AR600-8-22. Para 9-11
"f. Subsequent awards. For subsequent awards (if approved by the Secretary of Defense) for service in a different NATO operation, U.S. military personnel will affix a bronze service star to the NATO Medal suspension ribbon and service ribbon."

CPT (Join to see) I understand that you pick a NATO medal, then apply one service star on it for subsequent NATO medals. Para 9-11 in AR600-8-22.

The ribbon represents the first award and each star represents a subsequent award.

There are multiple NATO Medals from different NATO missions. But if your two NATO Medals are the same you would use a Bronze Star appurtenance.

While NATO does allow for awards of more than one NATO Medal, US regulations only allow for the first NATO Medal awarded to be worn on the uniform. Additional awards of the NATO Medal are indicated by wearing a bronze service star on the ribbon of the NATO Medal. Note - awards listed on a DD-214 are NOT listed in order of precedence. Refer to AR 670-1 for the correct order of precedence.
