As an Army Reservist, can I change my MOS at MEPS?

I'm met with my recruiter and picked out my MOS last Friday. It wasn't the job I wanted but my recruiter told me that when I go to MEPS I can change my MOS. Today he formed me that since I'm going into the reserves, I will not be able change my MOS because I'm joining the reserves. Can I just go to MEPS and say I don't want the job, go back to my recruiter and search for another job, THEN, go back to MEPS, to sign for that job?? Hope that makes sense. Let me know what ya'll think.

Screw that recruiter!
Make an appointment with an Army Recruiter and get Airborne in your contract! THAT MEANS - IN WRITING!!

That ought to be the way to go CSM Charles Hayden! I steered so many prospects from Reserve component interest into Regular Army. So often that I was expecting someone from Reserve Command to pay me a visit and inquire about my unsolicited interruptions!!!

Until you sign the contract and take the oath, you don't even have to SHOW UP at MEPS if you change your mind about enlisting. So you can certainly change your MOS. I'd find another recruiter, or go back and tell that guy you're changing your mind, and if he doesn't help you, you'll find one that will. Since this will effect his quota, I can pretty much guarantee a magical turnaround.

My recruiter messed up back when I went to MEPS to enlist so I had to change my MOS to a different one (complicated story). So therefore, yes you can change your MOS.
