How long does it take to get a response from the Army Discharge Review Board?

I am trying to get back into the Army but first need my Re code changed from a 4 to a 3. I was advised sending a written request to the review board and they could do so possibly. My application was accepted to be reviewed but haven’t heard anything further. Curious to know what to expect.

Anywhere from 3 to 5 months, if through channels. You can walk it through each signatory, reporting at attention, explaining why, receiving approval/denial, action on next step/appeal, etc, etc...

Of course as a civilian you wouldn't have to report at attention BUT it couldn't hurt.

Well, we all know that the armed forces are diligent in what they do so my guess is....... standby, stand down, stand at attention, stand in the corner.... Im afraid you have to wait...Gotta luv the hurry up & wait theme. Their doing it all over !!

I had some changes to my Air Force record ,took about a month, changes I was seeking were in my records but not in my DD-214 such as medals awarded that were not put on my DD-214.was open and shut. likely you are on the Doket waiting in line.
