Hello,

I saw a news article about how Norfolk Naval base needs DOD Police Officers. It said if you're interested, email your resume to [login to see] , which I did. It's been months and I have not heard anything. Does anyone know if they are still hiring? If so, is there someone I can call to see if they got my resume?

Call the HR department, CPAC. Also look on USAJOBS. If they got a hiring list, they hold on to it so when people drop out or are DQed, they can hit the approved hiring list. Call their civilian police chief and ask if you Were on the list and if you can expect a call.

From what I found, they are doing direct hires and completely bypassing the USAJOBS process. I'll try to give HR a call though, thank you sir.

PO2 (Join to see) - I'd call the hiring official, usually the police chief, DES, or if they have Patrol Division officer. I'd ask who is the hiring official is.

You could always reach out to the DES there and speak to the LT or Chief, they will be able to tell you if one is going to be posted or if one already is.
