What was your favorite rank held during your career?

Which rank and why? If you want to discuss experiences at different ranks please do.
This can be informative. I have heard different things.
So this includes all ranks. Anybody can respond but juniors should read what seniors post. If you only have held 1 or 2 ranks you should probably keep it short.
This might make you stop and think about where you are and what you are doing.
