We are in the process of selling our current home and the payment from the sale should be wired to our current lender at the end of the week. I understand that I can apply to have my entitlement "restored" through the eBenefits portal. Has anyone gone through this process lately? About how long does it take from the time you apply in the system? Thank in advance.

My last lender told me they could work directly with the VA and make it happen for an afternoon closing after closing the house I was selling in the morning..

CPT (Join to see) talk to your lender. They will have to do the fancy footwork to make it happen

July of 2018 we signed papers in the morning, effectively disconnecting us from the VA Loan we were attached to. That same day, we drove 2 hours to another attorney office, and signed papers to purchase another home using my VA Entitlement. Since all the paperwork was handled by the separate offices, I was told that as long as I sold the previous property, that everything would be fine as far as the VA was concerned. It is now September 2019, and we have not been informed of any issues.
