i have been in for 9 years now. Enlisted in Nov 2005 back when orders looked like someone types them up in Notepad. I have been trying to find a way to locate older copies of orders for ADWS and ADOS that I did from '06 thru '11 when I ETSd from the guard. Does anyone know where I can get copies of such orders? I was never issued a DD-214 (which is a whole other issue). I am trying to show the VA that I did perform time on Active Duty and because of the Lack of a DD -214, I need to show them orders. I have dug through my footlocker of copies and copies (and started sorting them into my "I love me book") but I know I am missing a few orders. Where can I go to find old NGB orders?

I am not completely familiar with the way the NG does things. Pretty sure HRC would not be of any help because it's a state thing. Have you tried contacting the NGB or your old units?
You have to keep records of everything. I have foot lockers of crap in my shed that just sits there but you never know, especially with the military.
A lot of times ADWS and ADOS doesn't count as actual active duty time served. Depends on the situation and what you're claiming active duty time for.

I did medical support for quite a few courses that benning ran out of a small camp in northern Oregon (camp rilea just south of Astoria) and a few other duties like being a CLS instructor for Task Force Warrior out of Camp Roberts among other things. I am trying to prove to the VA that I meet their definition of a Veteran by having over 90 congruent days on title 10 orders. Of the orders I have located, they are all under authority of 10 USC. I just want to show them everything in case they turn some down. I will try the HRC, but with what I can see through my record portal with them, they don't have anything other than my AR orders.

Would they accept an LES showing that you were paid for that time? You could request these through DFAS?

Exactly my thoughts. That or get your Readiness NCO to look in SIDPERS (I think that's the system).
