I just read the new MILPER message 19-153 as of May 30, 2019 for reclassification under block 4 (rules) line 2 it states “Soldiers in any enlisted Career Management Field (CMF) may apply for service within the 75th Ranger Regiment. Upon completion of the Ranger Assessment and Selection program and prior to Ranger assignment, Soldiers who possess an MOS that is not authorized within the 75th will be reclassified in accordance with (IAW) Regimental strengths. The 75th Ranger Regimental Commander and HRC will make the final decision on reclassification” can anyone confirm or add to this ?

If that is an official MILPER MSG than that is your final validation that any CMF can apply to become a Ranger. You will have to meet the same qualifications as any other applying.

SSG (Join to see) , SGT Javier Silva is correct. Doesn't get anymore official than a MILPER Message. Unless the Regiment POC has some amplifying information, get your stuff together and go for it.

It's a milper message, that's literally means it's an army policy.

What you state is true according to regulation,But the true trial is passing the testing of the man and receiving your wings and orders.
