Am i just getting the run around or does this process work slow?

Im a prior service applicant trying to join the army ive been waiting on a prescreen since january how i have been told by the SFC of the recruiting station my information has been taken to two meps centers and i have recieved nothing back i was told 5-30 days

It's the summer surge rite now. You'll find that they are most likely concentrating on moving recent grads and pushing the split option recruits through the system. So yes it is slower for the prior service folks (unfortunately).
