Has anyone found any guidance on the wear of a “C” device and “V” device on an ARCOM, seems to be getting a little crowded if you have been awarded both devices and a few OLCs. I don’t see anything about this on the regulations or the MILPER message recently published about “C” and “R” devices.

1LT (Join to see) There is a new AR600-8-22 dated March 2019 available on the HRC Awards Page. Read table 3-1 and foot notes.
Same page different link, chart showing how appurtenances are worn. https://www.hrc.army.mil/asset/18044
If your answer isn't there, look here:https://www.hrc.army.mil/content/C%20and%20R%20devices

If, for example, a Commander awarded a SPC an ARCOM with "V" device for a valorous action during a combat engagement, and then awarded another ARCOM as an end-of-combat-tour service award, that second award could be an ARCOM with "C" device (provided the end of tour award did not reference the act that earned the ARCOM with "V" device). In such a case, the Soldier would then wear both the "V" and "C" devices on his/her ARCOM. 4 devices (to include OLC) at which time a subsequent award would be a second ribbon.

So would you agree that in this type of scenario, a second wearing of an ARCOM is appropriate? Two separate ARCOM ribbons?

Yes. It is the only thing that can be done if you have both C and V and more than 2 additional
