If this is something you reenlisted for and you're attending AIT TDY Enroute to your next assignment, then no you can't. If you're an initial entry accession or at a PCS length school, AR 614-200 has a section on how to swap, but it probably won't be approved. Swapping isn't something that's really done anymore because of the difficulty of changing orders once the SM is placed on assignment.

I have some of my Soldiers do it but they were the same rank and called Branch to ask. So, you would have to find another SGT in school who might want to switch with you.
