I am on assinment to Korea. Signal branch told me 1st Signal Brigade. I need info on doing Command Sponsorship. How is it for the family?

It really depends on what part of Korea you end up in. 1st Signal is in a great area in Seoul, but they do have some Soldier in other locations. I would get with your sponsor if you have one and see what information they can provide you as far as a possible pinpoint assignment within the BDE. They should also be able to provide you with information on the commandsponsorship program. Check out this page for more information http://8tharmy.korea.army.mil/1sig/

Thank you MSG I will check out that site. I do not have a sponsor yet because I just came down on assignment. Just trying to decide if I want to get Command Sponsorship or just do a year and take a return assignment to Fort Campbell.

Sir I did ask for it. I am coming off of 2 years of Drill Sergeant duty and my only options were Kuwait or Korea. I have already been to Kuwait so I picked Korea.
