Literally running into Eddie Murphy in 1987 at the Milwaukee Airport to catch my flight to BMTS in San Antonio...don't know if that counts though :P
It was September, I had just turned 18 in August and had never been to an airport much less preparing to fly. I was part of our Troop Movement from Milwaukee MEPS, but my nervous stomach about my first flight had me excusing myself just before boarding. Once I had finished my, ummmm, business I saw that everyone was boarding and sprinted for the departure gate and smacked into a medium build man. He just happened to have two very large men with him that were ready to snatch me up, I apologized and he called off the goons while I continued to the gate.
It didn't dawn on me until I looked over my shoulder that it was indeed Eddie Murphy, there in town for his Raw Tour at the time.

Riding on the hood of a black-marketer's car through the gate of Yongsan Garrison and into the streets of Seoul at a high rate of speed, when I was the MP Brigade Commander/Provost Marshal, US Forces Korea.
She was eventually arrested by the Korean National Police, charged with Attempted Murder, prosecuted and sentenced to prison.
I was pretty famous for a few days... :-) It was something right out of the movies.
