You need to explain more: Right now I am picturing some Sergeant saying "..and as your punishment you will sleep in, eat breakfast and report to duty by 0900. You will not be allowed to do any PT....and don't let me catch you even thinking about jogging or walking fast during the day. Oh, and no Ruck march training or battle drill training either...those may use elements of pt.."

I think the story might just be, No PT for you, and during the PT time, you will scrub the floors of the barracks, and clean the latrines. Lol

A scenario where I could see this would be valid would be: you were being given some time during the work day to PT on your own outside of required unit PT and you were late returning a couple times. So he will no longer allow you to individually PT during work.

Or authorized individual PT during normal PT hours for achieving some unit minimum standard score on the APFT, then failing to meet that minimum score again on the next APFT.
