So I have a slight problem I need to take care of. I'm only an E-3 in the Navy but I just got married. The situation is my command is here in Virginia, but my spouse is in Louisiana. Can the Navy assist me with moving my spouse here? I've attempted to look but I'm not sure.

Do yourself a favor and wait until you have 2 months living expenses squirrelled away before moving her. Have a place to live, a full refrigerator, next months bills paid and some cash in the bank. A few months of sacrifice for an investment that what will hopefully last a lifetime.

The military won't pay to move your spouse to you when you initially get married. They will pay to move the two of you together when you PCS.

That's what I figured. Hopefully when I graduate the school I'm in it will happen then. Appreciate it.

SN (Join to see) - make sure she is in DEERS and appears in your PCS orders for the next duty station. If you are TDY enroute, get your orders amended before you start the next leg.

No they will not if your already checked in at your duty station. You have to move her yourself unfortunately. They are only responsible for the names that are on the orders In moving them.
