My DD368 got lost in the communication systems and was sent to me 2 months after it was signed. I currently have 3 months to move through the direct commission process. I have already submitted resume, transcripts, NCOERs, DD214s, Medical documents, LORs, Professional Licenses, and my current reserve unit will slot me for the AOC.
I need to get medical scheduled with the local MTF. Is it possible to get everything completed and signed off in a 3 month time frame?

When I was applying I hadn’t heard anything for about 3 months. My recruiter couldn’t get answers. A family friend was Harry Reid - he told me that he would look into it if I wanted him to or to contact a senator. I was hesitant, and don’t necessarily recommend it, but I did contact on of my senators. The recruiting district wasn’t happy, but I got an answer and things moved very quickly after that.

I think the process timeframe varies but I’ve heard 6 months to over a year. I am at the tail end of the process. I am still awaiting orders but so far it’s been a year for me.

No, I’m prior service and have been out for 10 years. I
Hope having to refill multiple DD368’s doesn’t mess with your timeline too much. I did however have to turn in and sign multiple different forms because they were lost in-transit or needed correction. Will you be staying in your same unit?SSG (Join to see)

Staying with my unit is an option. I currently have a lengthy commute so if there is a closer one, I would be open to transferring. I also think movement is great for professional development. If I do slot with my current unit, there is still a ton to learn as we're transitioning and developing.
