Just wondering if anyone could shed some light on possible duty stations after completing EOD training.

SGT (Join to see) use the power of the CAC, go to the FMSweb, and do a personnel query by MTOE/TDA. If you have to request a login, this takes 12 hrs max.

An off the grid assignment is Picatinny Arsenal. They work for the proponent office, but it is usually the most experienced and senior NCOs. They part of ARDEC, AMC

LTC Jason Mackay - Rare to snag something like that fresh out of school. Picatinny, Redstone and EOD school are usually seasoned troops, as you've mentioned.

TSgt David L. - yes, were talking former EOD first sergeants and sergeants first class. They've got the equivalent of a team there, but top heavy. They were awesome.

LTC Jason Mackay - I won't say that they fat cat those assignments but you don't see too many SGTs or SSGs in those billets. They used to be non-deployable so that was a bonus to senior folks waiting to retire. Not sure if that's still the case.

Mostly likely going to a line unit. So you can be a team member and start working on your team leader cert.

Through a dart at the map of the world. As SFC (Join to see) said, most installations have an EOD unit. Have you started school or just asking questions?

Just asking questions. I’m waiting on my 368 from the reserves so I can start. Just a waiting game at this point.

SGT (Join to see) - Got it. Good luck. It's a long school with follow-on training. Crabs over Castles! LOL
