I know that when I don't get paid on a timely basis, then none of my Soldiers are.
And if I find it annoying, then they probably find it 100x annoying.
And I have quite a few years of IT management under my belt.
If I were in charge of a critical system that is the hinge pin of getting orders and pay at my company and it was down for what is it now, two months... I would be fired.
So, those in the know... WTF?!

I think all of the IT folks in the Federal Government are busy working on the Obamacare website.
Jokes aside, they ran some form of update on Thanksgiving weekend that took the system down. Why they don't just undo that, I don't know. But I agree 100% CSM David Heidke, people should be fired.

Top, it seems like the USARC G6 has a no retreat policy.
They implement something, and it's all or nothing. All the chips go into the middle of the table. They take "I will never accept defeat" in a totally un-natural way.
I worked support for 15 years... If you implement something, and subsequently break it, you remove the implementation and go back to test.
That's IT 101... But I didn't go to a 25 series school to learn that. I learned it programming big iron in a corporate environment where paying someone is serious business.

BETA testing... don't need it.
I like the message you get when you log in to RLAS -
RLAS Status is OFFLINE
RLAS will be OFFLINE
I have seen message traffic suggesting it would be up on 6 February. Then again, there was traffic saying mid-January and 28 DEC too.
