I am considering spending money as part of formal studying before taking PMP exam at end of year. Curious if anyone has had particularly good or bad experiences with any companies that specialize in PMP "boot camps"...

I would go with the PMI prep courses as they are the proponent for the test.

The best information is on the PMI web page. I know several folks who were successful. The only internationally recognized cert. is through them. Based on you Branch you should be able to get the organization to foot the bill for the training and exam.

There is also a DOD specific Cert. that is used by most Federal agencies, but does not Cary the same weight on the outside. Thank you for your service.

Vets2PM offers Live Virtual and On Demand PMP Boot Camp (our onsite courses are sidelined by COVID), and along with our program, we provide a resume, interview skills workshop, and LinkedIn optimization plus Free lifetime job placement assistance. Our Boot Camp fees are below the others and we prepare you for your transition as well as the PMP exam. If you are Army, you can request us by name (Vets2PM) for Army CA (we are pending) and we are already approved for AFCOOL. We are a PMI REP provider.
