HET for 88M20 career progression?

I'm currently on orders to pcs to Fort Hood. I'm being told I may go to a HET company. Honestly, even though comfortable, it's a vehicle I've been wanting to avoid. Is this opportunity really worth it?

You should look at everything in life as an opportunity to improve and learn.

That is what keeps a person lively.
