Okay so we lived in McNair village for like 2 months before my husband deployed and I moved back home too. He’s coming back in Feb and I want to get another house ready before he gets back (he’s E2). Our daughter will be one so I’m not too crazy about stairs but I could deal with it if I had to. We need fenced in yard due to dogs, wooden privacy is nice

PV2 (Join to see) it seems you have numerous requirements. Perhaps working directly with a real estate agent or Military by Owner could help you find a place.

Recommend finding a house then worry about paranormal activity. A simple internet search will let you know if a traumatic event occurred there. Good luck.
What will haunt you is trying to to survive on the economy on E2 BAH. I recommend you look hard at on post housing and make an informed decision on where you ultimately choose to live.

Thanks. I’ll likely look on post. It’s hard to find a decent house off post around there for under 900 and allows dogs. On post atleast we will know our bills will be covered

I grew up around Ft Hood, I will tell you that Comanche Village is built on an Indian burial ground. When I was a kid I was riding my dirt bike around and was stopped by a guy in a strange uniform, asked me what I was doing there etc... We got to talking, he explained that when they started the construction they had unearthed a huge Indian burial ground. I wouldn't be surprised to find/hear that this area is haunted.

Yeah pretty serious or I wouldnt have asked. I’ve lived in some houses with strange paranormal activity and seen a couple myself. I refuse to let my daughter live in one.
