I have searched and can not find a good list of vehicles the army actively has so I want to ask any former 91B's what you mostly worked on. I am so excited about being a 91B. I am a huge gearhead.

I worked on a variety of vehicles that the military no longer has, 1/4 tons Jeeps were fun to work on. M151A3.

Literally anything with wheels. I was a 63W back in the day, heavy wheel mechanic. We worked on HMMWVs in their many varieties, LMTVs in their many varieties, now-a-days I imagine it includes all the new blast vehicles MRAPs all its cousins and even strykers (but I do believe those have a dedicated MOS as well).

awesome, thank you! Yes your right stryker maintainer is its own MOS. I almost chose that but i felt like i wouldnt like being stuck with just one vehicle and and that being a 91B i would gain alot more knowledge on a large variety of vehicles

As he said, literally anything with wheels. Even Strykers. We have 91Bs in our Stryker unit as well as Stryker mechanics.

PVT (Join to see) yes Stryker 91S is only for Strykers, but the Stryker maintenance program needs all the help it can get. The transition from warranty maintenance to field maintenance was rough.

I originally joined the Army to be a mechanic. I absolutely loved it! I am naturally a gear head as well. Mostly you will be just changing parts. Stay hungry and apply for a SOF unit where you can really use your hands and head. Good luck!
