Anyone know of any special assignments/details for 13Ds?

I occasionally see NATO assignments out there for SSG 13D's. They are usually for Izmir, Turkey.  

NATO assignments are out there for NCOs. You could call the EUCOM G1 and see what is open. There is also the US Army NATO BDE, with companies in two BNs. It is the command you are assigned to while in a NATO billet. These assignments are the supporting HHC if you will for the guys actually in the NATO joint slots. Big difference. Be careful to ask if it is joint billet. You want a joint billet. Be wary of the rare overseas....could mean outside of the normal US force structure (no PX, no MCCS, no commissary, no nothin). I worked with guys who were alone and UN afraid in Lille France, totally on their own. There are slots in Turkey, Norway, Belgium, Germany, the UK, Poland, Spain, and Italy among others. There is also NATO in Afghanistan.

I'm not to sure of any Field Artillery special assignments off the top of my head. If we send troops back to Iraq to train, then there might be something there.
